Tutorial: How To Love Yourself


Assalamualaikum and hey. Pourtney Pattle had been finished and I hope you had a great and wonderful time reading the story.

For this post, I'm going to make a tutorial on how to love yourself. Love thyself!


Before anything, let's admit that sometimes, we all have the thoughts of hating our own guts due to what we've done, and what happens to us. Even some of us hate themselves unconditionally and continuously. But don't worry, we are here today to change that!


Step 1: spot on your strengths and 'adventages'


Everyone has their own strengths and kindness in their soul. No matter how bad we see they are, they at least have one goodness in them that we haven't seen. And same goes to us! We may can't see our own value and strengths, but other people see it. If you have already seen them, then that's a great start! List down all of your goodnesses and make a use of them. For example, you have a kind smile so you will use your smile to greet people. No need to dig deeply on your goodnesses. The simple things are already enough, but if you can see your strengths deeply, list them down quickly because I'm so proud of you! Unfortunately, if you can't see your own strengths in you, ask other people about it! Ask your family, friends and partner about what's good in you. I'm sure they can see your inside beauty!


Step 2: value yourself


Value and respect yourself. Respect yourself before you respect people. Don't make yourself easy to be underestimated. Put yourself up so they can't step on you. For example, if someone insults you, walk away from them because you know what they say is otherwise. Or reply with a wise answer such as "I would have a free time but I don't want to waste it by listening to your babbling." After that, know your own value and worth. You are created by God. He has a reason why He created you, so you are worthy. Everyone is this world has a reason to live. This step could also help building your confidence.


Step 3: meditate


Meditate helps thinking problems. Go walk along nature once a week. Watch the trees and listen to the birds singing while listening to your favourite music. Meanwhile, think about all the circumstances you've been through these past few weeks. Think about what you've achieved, what you've received and what you've succeed. Be proud of yourself for what you've been through. Be proud what you've survived. I'm already proud of you for surviving thus far, that's such a big success. Congratulations! If not, just enjoy the breeze and scene of nature. There's no harm in that.


Step 4: convince yourself


Make your mind convinced that you are lovable. Go to the mirror and say "I love you. You are such a dear." Repeat this every morning before you start your day so you will be positive minded. Write inspiring qoutes to your own self such as "you are amazing today, tomorrow and everyday!" and read them always. Read your strengths again on step 1 so you will always remember your strengths and when to use them.


With these four steps, I hope I have helped you on loving yourself. Practise these steps often to make a faster effect.
